Hairstyle tips for summer

Woman & Home magazine has published 40 different hair style ideas for summer 2010.

Ladies considering getting a new hair style for summer may be interested in the range of suggestions made recently by Woman & Home.

The publication has come up with a list of trendy styles, with many shorter options that could be ideal for the summer months.

For the braver girls out there, the red pixie crop could be an ideal way to make a statement and enhance their features, as long as they have the face shape to match.

"A pixie crop works best on an oval face and if it's too severe, can be quite unforgiving," the magazine warned.

Slightly safer is the asymmetric bob, which the magazine suggested should help keep readers cool and strip a few years off their face into the bargain.

Continuing with the short cuts, the 60s bob with its short layers helps add volume to fine hair, while the angled fringe is flattering to most faces.

The magazine also recently published a World Cup feast idea from TV presenter Carol Vorderman.
