GQ magazine cover to feature Prince Harry

GQ magazine subscription holders can read about Prince Harry's part in a trek to the North Pole in the latest issue of the publication.

In the run-up to the royal wedding, Prince William has been the centre of media attention, however, GQ magazine subscription holders can see Prince Harry in the spotlight in an upcoming issue.

The prince features on the publication's May cover and talks to the magazine about a trek to the North Pole he is undertaking with a group of wounded military servicemen.

In the cover shot, he is wearing the kit for the Walking With The Wounded charity, of which he is patron.

Speaking to the publication, Prince Harry said: "This extraordinary expedition will raise awareness of the debt that this country owes to those it sends off to fight - only for them to return wounded and scarred, physically and emotionally."

The prince and his fellow walkers will set off this week and Harry will be with the team for the first five days of the walk, which is expected to take four weeks in total.

All of those taking part will battle temperatures as low as minus 60C and walk for up to ten miles a day.

The prince will be spending next weekend in a very different environment to the last one, when he attended his older brother's stag party.
