Playing a Bond Girl has to be the dream role for any actress, right? Not only will you be starring in a film that will be watched by avid fans all over the world but you know that you must be pretty gorgeous to score that gig! There's no doubt that Bérénice Marlohe is a beauty when you see her on the cover of GQ magazine's August issue.
After shooting and interviewing the actress, it becomes apparent that she's a little quirky and doesn't guard her comments as many who have been strictly media-trained do as she comes out with things like saying that Christopher Walken is her favourite actor because he is "one quarter alien, one quarter animal, one quarter man and one quarter woman". OK then...
She told the magazine: "I had to learn how to shoot a gun, but then I did have three guns at home... Well, replica guns. But I have never tried to fire blanks with them. So [this film] was an opportunity to. I had to learn how to shoot a gun... well, actually, I didn't. I asked to learn. But it was too good an opportunity not to fire them for real." So why does she own three guns, you may ask? "Well, I've always felt I should know how to look with one. You know? So I've stood a lot in front of the mirror with them." Glad we cleared that up then.
