Fearne Cotton on parenthood and her excitement to get married

Fearne Cotton talks to Red about her guilt for working instead of being with her son and why she can't wait to be a wife!

Fearne Cotton is happy as larry – she’s in a great place with fiancé Jesse Wood and the cuple had their first child last year, a son named Rex.

However, speaking to Red in the August issue, Fearne admits that she does get the working mother’s guilt. "I'll be interviewing Coldplay, feeling bad for being there," she says. "There's this little tap on the shoulder, your subconscious saying, 'Don't enjoy this too much, you should be at home'."

Having kids seems to suit the Radio 1 DJ and she’s definitely keen for more. "I would do anything to have that experience of being pregnant again," she tells Red. "Oh, when I was pregnant and huge, I felt the most amazing I've ever felt. The day after I gave birth, I remember looking in the mirror. I probably looked horrendous. And I felt like I looked the most beautiful I had ever looked. If I'd been papped right then, I would have been proud."

She and Wood got engaged last December and she confesses that she’s really excited to married. "I can't wait to be a wife," she said. "It just feels really solid... I want to have the same surname. I want to feel like we've done it properly."
