Unless you've been living under a rock, you'll know that the Edinburgh Fringe Festival is currently in full swing. Those of you Scots with a Scotland magazine subscription will no doubt be proud that your country gets to show itself off every year, with hundreds of visitors flocking from all over to check out the festival.
The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is one of the biggest festivals in the world and is held for three weeks every August. Artists of all kind flock to the city to showcase their talents - whether it be music, art, dance or the most popular - comedy.
The festival is one of the best places to go if you want to spot new comedy talent, those who prove popular in Edinburgh will be the ones you'll be watching on Live at the Apollo a few years later. Greats such as John Cleese, Rowan Atkinson, Hugh Laurie, Stephen Fry and Al Murray all got their big breaks at the festival.
