Title: Edge magazine
Edge magazine has looked at the latest creation from the company that brought Grand Theft Auto (GTA) to video game fans.
Rockstar has brought the old west back to life in Red Dead Redemption, which is due out later this month.
The publication had a lot of praise for the game, noting its attention to detail and the fun of using its weapons system.
Furthermore, the Euphoria engine makes the digital world beautiful in a similar way to that seen in the Assassin's Creed games.
However, Edge noted that the missions can sometimes be a little too easy - the opposite of the GTA franchise, which it suggested was filled with "fist-gnawing difficulty spikes".
Furthermore, while being a good citizen and helping people out earns discounts in stores and other bonuses, the magazine noted that using your guns to pillage and plunder is a quicker way to wealth.
It also revealed that even the baddest cowboy gamer could find redemption from the game's characters by performing just a few noble tasks to swing their reputation back around.
Other Rockstar games include Canis Canem Edit - which was set in a US boarding school.
