Dazed & Confused magazine celebrates 20 years with biggest ever issue!

It's birthday time for Dazed & Confused. This week the magazine has turned 20!

This week, as those of you with Dazed & Confused magazine subscriptions will know, the magazine has celebrated its 20th birthday by releasing their biggest issue to date.

Way back in 1991, Dazed & Confused magazine was started by Jefferson Hack (also famous for fathering Kate Moss’ daughter Lila Grace) and photographer Rankin. Originally starting as a poster that could be folded out, the magazine got progressively bigger – firstly becoming a stapled booklet and then the perfect bound magazine we read today.

It quickly emerged as one of the most popular “alternative” magazines, offering a good mix of music, art, fashion, film and literature. Whilst other similar magazines such as The Face and Sleazenation have since folded, Dazed & Confused has gone from strength to strength.

The 20th anniversary issue went on sale yesterday, so all you lucky Dazed & Confused magazine subscribers will already have your hands on the magazine.

The latest issue has over 300 pages, full of exclusive interviews with the likes of include Gareth Pugh, Carine Roitfield and Peaches, amongst others, 20 classic Dazed & Confused magazine covers, re-worked by artists such as Tracey Emin, Terence Koh and Aaron Rose and a Time Capsule which has been contributed to by the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Viktor & Rolf, and Kate Moss.

If you want to make sure you get the next 20 years, you can take out a Dazed & Confused magazine subscription and keep informed as to what’s going on in the cultural world.
