If you have a Country Life magazine subscription then you’ll have just received one of their most special issues to date – the Diamond Jubilee Collectors’ Issue. At a whopping 370 pages, it’s one of the biggest issues of Country Life ever published and it looks truly worthy of a monarch, with a white cover featuring a portrait of the Queen with gold embossed writing.
The special issue features a collection of the magazine’s famous frontispiece pages featuring the Queen - who appears to be the magazine’s favourite cover girl as she has graced the front page more than any other person – as well interesting features on her fashion choices, the change in government throughout the Queen’s reign and an exclusive interview with Her Majesty’s kennelman at Sandringham.
