Mad Men star Christina Hendricks has told GQ magazine that her size 14 figure meant she used to feel invisible in Hollywood.
The screen siren, who is famed for her curves, told the magazine: "I've never quite felt like I fitted in. It's as if I was invisible before Mad Men.
"Now people come up and say: 'God I love the show, I'm so-and-so', and I'm like,'I know, I had dinner with you three years ago.'"
She added that her voluptuous figure can also make finding red carpet outfits difficult as many designers only make gowns in size zero or two.
The flame-haired actress, who plays sexy office manager Joan Holloway in Mad Men, was voted the Sexiest Woman Alive by Esquire magazine's female readers in May.
She will shortly be seen on the big screen in the films Leonie, The Family Tree and Life as We Know It.
