Best anti-ageing products revealed

Anyone with a Good Housekeeping magazine subscription who's looking to fight off signs of ageing should be in luck as the publication has released a list of the top products following an 18-month study.

Anyone looking to ward off the signs of ageing who has a Good Housekeeping magazine subscription will be able to find one of the best products to beat old-aged skin.

Over 18 months, Good Housekeeping magazine conducted a large scientific study to determine which anti-ageing products managed to live up to their claims.

In the October issue of the magazine, the publication will be giving readers the results of its First Annual Anti-Ageing Awards.

Some 90 products in 12 different categories were looked at by scientists, who conducted more than 3,000 lab tests on them and took 5,600 before and after photos of women aged 35 and over who tested the items.

"Anti-ageing claims are everywhere, and it's frustrating to buy a product - often an expensive one - and find that it doesn't perform," said Rosemary Ellis, editor-in-chief of Good Housekeeping.

"We weren't sure if anything we tested would really work - but some did, and the best performers weren't always the most expensive ones."

Also in the magazine, you can find out five of the best ways to stay young at heart, discovering the things to do to age-proof your body.
