It really is a different world for celebrities, with their money, fame and the ability to pick out your future wife just by pointing at her on the television – after all, it worked for David Beckham and now Ben Foden admits it was similar for him when it came to wife Una Healy.
The rugby star is this month’s cover guy for Attitude’s June issue and describing how he met The Saturdays’ singer he says: "I'd been having lunch in a pub with my agent when he asked about my love life and I was, 'Oh, non existent'.
"He asked if there was anyone I was thinking about, then The Saturdays popped up on the music channel in the corner and I said, 'Oh, the one in the blue tights'. And the next thing I know I've got a text saying, 'She's expecting your call'."
Baby Aoife Belle and a marriage later and it seems to have all worked out well.
