The British actress has been dating Rhys Ifans for two years and whilst she is confident that their relationship is going to last, she doesn’t want to let her age affect her decisions.
She has a seven year-old daughter named Gracie from her ten-year relationship with David Thewlis, and she confesses that she would like to have more. Some day.
“I do want another child, but it’s not something I want to rush into at this point in my life with Rhys,” says Friel. “I think he would like his own child, but I’m not sure we’re ready yet. I’m 36. All my friends around me are freezing their eggs! It’s so much harder to be a woman these days. We’ve got to do everything - keep working and cope with travelling, and still be a mother.”
