We love great news and the announcement from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge that Kate Middleton is pregnant and a royal baby is on the way has made our days!
Unfortunately the news seems to be bittersweet for Kate who has been admitted to hospital with acute morning sickness. We're sure those of you young mums with a Mother & Baby magazine subscription will be sympathetic if you suffered during your pregnancy.
The palace released a statement saying: "Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Cambridge is expecting a baby."
She is thought to be eight weeks pregnant - very early for an announcement but we doubt they would have been able to hide the news now that she is in hospital.
She will remain in King Edward VII Hospital for several days to rest.
