Beauty from within is a hot thing for 2011, according to Country Living magazine, so it's important to glow from the inside out.
Nutritionist and wellbeing expert Rick Hay told the mag that having a healthy liver and digestive system can boost skin, hair and nails.
"I recommend a variety of nutrients that are designed to work synergistically with your body, ones that offer anti-ageing and anti-inflammatory boosting benefits, as the same level of repair cannot be achieved through diet or topical creams alone," he said.
When choosing foundation, the key is ensuring it matches your natural skin colour.
"A shade that suits your skin tone under the artificial lighting of the shop floor could well turn you into an orange-skinned oompa loompa in the harsh light of day," warns Country Living magazine.
Makeup artist Athena Skouvakis told the publication the key is to blend foundation along the jaw line, not back of the hand, to get a great skin tone match.
