If you're looking to create more storage space in your kitchen and you've got a Period Living magazine subscription, you're very much in luck.
With some tips from the mag, you'll be able to make the most of any space you have and ensure you can fit everything in.
Period Living magazine suggests there is "a simple rule when it comes to planning the storage requirements for your kitchen".
Apparently, there's no such thing as having too much of it.
Plot out what you need and "incorporate clever storage solutions that will result in a fine-tuned workspace", conceptual designer Lizzie Beesley told Period Living magazine.
She recommends hiding as much as possible behind closed doors to minimise clutter.
Put things into different zones so everything is organised according to its section - e.g. preparation, comestibles, non-comestibles and cooking utensils.
According to Period Living magazine, choosing a few, big cupboards makes far more sense than opting for lots of small ones. This makes "it easier to find items as all contents can be viewed in one glance".
