Fashion followers with a Red magazine subscription can read all about the trends which are bound to be hot in 2011.

Red magazine says 70s fever is set to be big this year. It describes this as being "where old school YSL meets Studio 54 and soft florals".

Also due to make a big splash in the world of fashion is soft tailoring. According to Red magazine, "2011 sees the new rules of tailoring".

Soft silk jackets and trousers will help advance the trend, the mag suggests.

Also set to be hot in 2011 is stripes. "Say goodbye to your classic Breton and hello to bold primary colours and wide statement stripes," advises Red magazine.

Recently, Sarah Mower, writing for the Daily Telegraph, said the 70s will be all the rage this season.

According to the fashion expert, 1972 will be twinned with 2011 because they are "perfectly aligned".
