If you have a subscription to ELLE USA then you will receive one of the magazine’s four different covers celebrating some of the greatest women in television right now.
ELLE shot Amy Poehler, Zooey Deschanel, Allison Williams and Mindy Kaling and gave them a cover each. However, Kaling’s cover has come under scrutiny for being the only image which doesn’t feature a full body image and is in black and white – the fact that she also happens to be the only who isn’t stick thin or white is leading to questions about the magazine’s reasoning for her cropped image.
Personally we think all four girls look fab. Kaling herself has defended her cover saying she loves it.
In typical Kaling style, she tweeted: “I love my @ELLEmagazine cover. It made me feel glamorous & cool. And if anyone wants to see more of my body, go on thirteen dates with me.”
