Vogue’s September issue brings in the ad revenue!

Vogue's September issue is bigger than ever with a 6% increase on adverts and more great content!

If you have a Vogue magazine subscription, you’ll have just received the September issue – the most coveted of all Vogue issues throughout the year!

The September issue of the fashion bible is normally the biggest issue, packed with even more fantastic content than usual. It’s usually the most jam-packed with adverts too, as brands know that readers are most likely to pick this particular issue up, if they don’t already have a subscription.

Figures have confirmed that ad revenue has increased by a further 6% year on year and this year's ad pagination has gone up by 12 pages on last year, to a total of 272 pages. Those featured in the issue include Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors and Fendi.

Vogue's associate publisher Emily Armstrong said: "Many brands that dipped out of Vogue in 2011/2012 are now returning in bigger ways than we could have anticipated.

"While our stronghold is the luxury brand advertising from fashion and beauty houses, the high street is also looking to Vogue as a media partner. For example, Marks & Spencer Beauty as a category has also grown considerably in 2013."

Of course, it's not all about the ads! The issue includes interviews with Pharrell Williams and Tom Ford, the latest fur debate and a Cara Delevingne shoot by David Bailey.

Armstrong added: "'Brand Vogue' is investing in, and constantly improving its editorial offering across all platforms (magazine, website, tablet and mobile) and this is proving hugely appealing to a range of brands, at different levels."
