Title: Vogue
Vogue magazine was on hand as the cream of the acting world turned out for the 82nd annual Academy Awards.
The fashion title was watching with interest as stars such as Colin Firth and Sandra Bullock paraded down the red carpet.
The Blind Side actress Bullock dazzled in a silver coloured Marchesa full-length dress, which swept the famous royal red fabric underfoot.
She was among the winners after picking up the Best Actress award and shed a few tears as she gave her thanksgiving speech.
Bullock humbly praised the other nominees and thanked her mother for her support.
Firth missed out on the Best Actor gong for his role in Tom Ford's A Single Man, with the prize going instead to Jeff Bridges, who starred in Crazy Heart.
Hollywood's Kodak Theatre was the venue for the prestigious event and while the rain threatened to ruin any Kodak moments, photographers were still treated to a grand display of top film stars wearing outfits from the hottest designers.
Bullock has recently starred in a string of romantic comedies, but has also appeared in action movies such as Speed, Demolition Man and Murder By Numbers.
