Vogue magazine looks at V Fest style

Vogue magazine looks at how V Festival attendees showed off some of the best of the summer's trends last weekend in Hylands Park, Chelmsford.

Vogue magazine subscription holders can look at how well the Essex girls scrubbed up when V Festival hit Chelmsford's Hylands Park last weekend.

The summer's hottest trends were given one of their last outings of the year at the festival, where stylish music fans packed their Topshop parkas, as well the season's key looks, reports Vogue magazine.

When the weather picked up over the weekend, so did the fashion trends, with looks complementing the St Tropez tans festival goers could nab at the brand's tanning tent.

Some girls went for pastel hues, with pretty flowers and floaty dresses, while others went for a more 80s-inspired look, coupling acid wash denim or printed playsuits with thigh-high boots.

Legs were definitely the order of the day for some of the hottest stars appearing at the festival.

Diana Vickers, Taylor Momsen and Pixie Lott as adopted a less-is-more approach to dressing in some teeny dresses, while Pixie sported one of hot trends for autumn/winter - suspender-style tights.

Fans at V Fest this year were treated to some top music acts, including Kings of Leon, the Stereophonics, Kasabian and the Prodigy during the two-day event.
