What a sad day, especially for the staff of Tatler magazine who have just lost a member of their team. Alan TBH Plumptre was the pet dog of the Tatler editor’s assistant Jennifer George and was something of a celebrity in cyber space, even having his own Twitter account.
According to reports, the dachshund had been taken on a lunch time stroll by a member of the Tatler team when he dashed into the office building’s revolving doors, getting stuck and he sadly never made it out.
Two fire engines and ten firefighters attempted to rescue to dog and the Tatler worker, however is seems that Alan TBH Plumptre’s injuries were too severe.
Jennifer tweeted an image of the dog saying, “...all who followed@TatlerAlan He was so awesome & so very loved. This is the last photo I ever took – handsome as ever. X”
We’re very sorry to hear of the pooch’s demise and hope that his memory lives on.
