Second baby was a 'gift of sobriety'

People with a Grazia magazine subscription can learn more about Radio 2 DJ Zoe Ball's struggle to get pregnant with her daughter Nelly.

Radio 2 presenter Zoe Ball has revealed that she and her husband Norman Cook think of their second child Nelly as a "gift of sobriety".

People with a Grazia magazine subscription can read about how the couple tried to have a second child after they were reconciled in 2003, following a brief split, however they were unsuccessful.

Zoe told the publication that she thought their heavy drinking and party lifestyle had left them infertile.

However, when Cook came out of rehab they went on holiday and Zoe immediately fell pregnant with their daughter Nelly, who was born in January this year.

"Me and Norm call Nelly our gift of sobriety," she told the publication.

The couple also have another son, Woody, who is now nine.

Zoe rose to fame when she took over the Radio 1 Breakfast Show in 1997, while Norman is better known as Fatboy Slim.
