New bikini brand to be showcased at London show

The Clothes Show London 2010 will be used to debut Mermaid's new AquaChange swimwear range.

Lingerie Buyer magazine has revealed that a new brand will be showcasing its wears at the Clothes Show London 2010.

Mermaid will use the show, which takes place later this month, to exhibit its debut collection of AquaChange swimwear.

The garments are specially designed to change their colour and pattern on contact with water and those keen for a look can head to London for the show between June 25th and 27th.

AquaChange founder and creator Natasha Roy explained that the bikinis will stand out on the beach during 2010.

"I've had girls shrieking with delight when they get into the water and see the bikinis change colour from a striking red to retro red and black polka or shimmering gold to wild leopard print," she revealed.

Ms Roy suggested that the new technology makes the garments more fun than a reversible bikini and claimed that buyers are effectively getting two for the price of one.

The latest issue of Lingerie Buyer has a special report on the key hosiery trends.
