Look magazine subscription holders may be interested to know that the publication's editor has been interviewed in a national newspaper.
Ali Hall, who also edited Slimming and More magazines, spoke to the Independent about how she managed to get to where she has in her career.
She explained that her degree in English from the University of Liverpool was a good foundation, while being determined and offering to work for local newspapers for free helped her get her foot in the door of the competitive world of journalism.
Ms Hall produced her own version of Slimming magazine in order to land the role of features assistant and explained how she got the job of editor by knowing "what was wrong with the magazine".
"I do [consider myself successful]," she told the newspaper. "I do something I love and I have a laugh every day at work."
