She’s an English Rose who has made quite an impression on both sides of the atlantic as Keira Knightley’s career has gone from strength to strength and now she’s very happily loved up too. She became engaged to Klaxons keyboardist James Righton last year.
Speaking to US Marie Claire, she says that she’s never going to turn into a Bridezilla and that she’s not after the fairytale wedding that many girls dream of.
“We’re not really big-wedding types,” she says. “I could have six fake weddings. God, that would be expensive. I don’t need to have all that.”
Whilst there’s no doubt in her mind that James is the right man for her, she says that they have a lot of differences, but she feels that makes them stronger as a couple. She says: “I’m not someone who listens to a lot of music, but I get wonderful perspective by being with someone who is less like me than more like me. The way he thinks is something I don’t get. We come at things from totally different angles.”
