Former Vogue editor gives truth about size zero models

Former Vogue editor Kirstie Clements has written a tell-all book blowing the secrets on the real eating habits of fashion models.

If you have been reading Australian Vogue for a long time, you may recall former editor Kirstie Clements, who began working at the magazine in the late 1980s and was then sacked 25 years later, in May of last year.

Now that she has a lot more free time on her hands, Clements has had enough time to write a book on her experiences at the fashion magazine – particularly how models stay so skinny.

The book is named The Vogue Factor and spills the dirt on many of Clements’ own experiences in dealing with models who were proud of the fact that they starved themselves.

The controversial book will shock many, who do not know the lengths to which models will go to ensure they are thin enough to get booked for high fashion jobs.
