British actress Emily Blunt caught the world’s attention in 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada and her career has gone from strength to strength ever since. She hasn’t done too badly in her personal life either, having dated Michael Buble and now having married The American Office’s John Krasinski.
Catching up with InStyle USA, Blunt talks about her marriage to Krasinski, saying: “Meeting John really changed my life. When I feel the support that I have from him, I feel invincible. There’s someone behind you on your good days, and someone in front of you on your bad days.” How sweet!
Back on the topic of her career, Blunt discusses what attracts her to certain parts. “I want to play characters that aren’t necessarily typical,” she says. “I’m interested in people who you might think are ugly on the inside, or lonely, or even majestic—all of that stuff. I’m a person who likes to sit back and watch the world. Acting allows me a place to use everything I’ve absorbed.”
