Have you heard about the new initiative from ELLE? No doubt those of you with an ELLE magazine subscription have! The team behind the magazine are on the lookout for a group of interns for one very special project - to put together the October issue of ELLE!
They're looking for 10 interns to fill 10 positions - an editor, fashion editor, fashion photographer, features editor, online news editor, art editor, celebrity editor, beauty editor, hair stylist and make-up artist.
Those picked will work exclusively on the October issue and will be paid that standard contributors fee.
"We want to show support for the invaluable assistance interns provide and ELLE: Edited by the Interns 2012 will discover and nurture new talent whose dreams lie in fashion, beauty and editorial. It is the first competition of its kind in the UK and a once in a lifetime opportunity for any paid intern to contribute to the production of the UK’s number-one fashion and beauty magazine.”
They've already had 400 applicants and if you think you'd like to get involved you'd better get your skates on as the competition closes on 18th June.
