Claire Danes is the star of Homeland, one of the biggest TV shows around, so of course every magazine wants a piece of her.
This month the actress is on the cover of Interview magazine and is interviewed about the show – which she clearly loves, despite filming being a little gruelling.
Going back to filming was especially daunting this time around as she was a new mum. 'It was exhausting but also exhilarating,' she tells the magazine. “I had just come out of my mommy cocoon and my cushy, mushy love planet. So entering that mania at that point was not as enjoyable.”
The actress has been in the business a long time, in fact, she remembers doing a photo shoot for Interview when she was just 15 years old.
“At one point, [Spike Jonze, the photographer] said, ‘Be sexy.’ So I gave him my 15-year-old idea of what that was,” she says. “He was like, ‘Um ... No.’ I didn't know how to give that—I hadn't had it yet, so I didn't know what it was.”
