Chloe Moretz seems to have a bright future ahead of her. She already has a number of successful films behind her, including Kick-Ass 2, and Carrie is on the way.
She was Marie Claire USA’s March cover (yep, another mag we found during our office clean up!) and speaking to the magazine she revealed that she is drawn to more complex roles. “I like doing dark material, which is interesting since I’m such the opposite person,” she says. “I’m so light and happy. I have a good family and I’m loved.”
She shares her love for Julianne Moore, who she worked with on Carrie. “She’s one of my favourite people I’ve ever worked with,” she tells the magazine. “And if I could do every single movie for the rest of my career with her, I would, because she’s brilliant.” Aww.
She admits that she has to find some light relief when playing difficult characters. “I’ll watch the Disney Channel,” she says. “My family makes fun of me for it, but with the characters I do, I always use that as my upper.”
