Cameron Diaz stuns on ELLE December cover

Cameron Diaz speaks to ELLE about British food, ale and healthy living.

She’s long been one of the most gorgeous women in Hollywood and Cameron Diaz just proves it on the cover of ELLE this month.

Despite just turning 40, her age is doing nothing to deter from her beauty – she could give actresses half her age a run for their money.

The actress stars in new movie Gambit with Colin Firth, which premiered last night. During filming the actress lived in the UK, meaning she had no choice but to indulge in British cuisine. But what was her favourite find? Pork scratchings. Yep...

“Oh, that’s my favourite snack in the whole world!” she says. “Even with the bristles – I don’t care, I’ll do it! It’s my favourite thing.”

She’s not so hot on British ales though. ELLE asked the actress to distinguish which were real and which made up out of Theakston’s Old Peculier, Timothy Taylor’s Landlord, Bradley Wiggins’ Leathery Saddle, Worthington’s White Shield or Brunswick’s Black Sabbath. She answered: “That is way too hard! Um, Black Sabbath is a band, so it’s not a beer.”

She did, however, believe Bradley Wiggins’ Leathery Saddle was real and was embarrassed when the team explained who Wiggins is. “The leathery saddle sounds so convincing! Alright so I didn’t follow the Tour de France this year. And honestly, names to me – I forget names quicker than they’re actually spoken to me. Literally, it’s like a form of dyslexia.”

Catch Diaz in Gambit, released in cinemas on 21st November.
