Anyone choosing to don stripes needs to go for bold ones in order to get ahead of the game, Look magazine suggests.
"From Marc By Marc Jacobs to Celine and Prada, the catwalks were bursting with a selection of stripes from bold to skinny, bold and electric – anything goes," the publication said.
Red carpet outfits and celebs' casual attire of late has comprised stripes, showing the trend is well and truly on its way, encouraging us to "splurge on an array of strong-striped" items, according to Look magazine.
Popstars Rihanna and Kylie Minogue are just two of the A-listers who have been spotted embracing the spring/summer 2011 wardrobe essential.
Recently, Clare Coulson, writing for the Daily Mail, said bold colours are likely to be bang on trend this season.
