Movie buffs with an Empire magazine subscription can read an exclusive interview with Hollywood newcomer Tom Hardy.
The British actor, famed for roles in Inception and Bronson, talked about the injuries he suffered while filming his upcoming flick, Warrior.
He told Empire magazine: "It was all a concern. I'm not a fighter, not at all. So for me it was a challenge."
Hardy suffered torn ligaments in his hand, broke a toe and cracked his ribs while undertaking the gruelling training regime for Warrior.
He told Empire magazine that the biggest concern was: "Could I achieve that kind of physicality and convince anybody in any way that I might possibly be a fighter?"
The actor plays the role of Tom Conlon in his new flick, which he stars in alongside Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Morrison and Nick Nolte.
Warrior will be hitting UK cinema screens on September 23rd this year.
