NME puts together Music Photography exhibition

NME and Nikon are holding an exhibition to display the winners of their Music Photography Awards.

We told you a couple of months ago that NME were once again working with Nikon to find the best music photography out there. Now, the companies have put together an exhibition of the winners at The Printspace in London, opening this Wednesday 23rd October.

The categories for Best Music Photography included live, portrait, documentary, festivals and under-18s and the winners’ work will be displayed alongside images from Pieter M. Van Hattem, who won the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award.

NME’s editor Mike Williams says: "Every year NME is proud to launch the NME and Nikon Music Photography Awards. It's an incredibly important competition to us, allowing us to seek out fresh photography talent and celebrate some of our most iconic shoots from NME's past. The standard of entrants continues to improve every year and this event provides new blood with a phenomenal platform to showcase their work. The exposure has allowed past winners to go on to achieve brilliant things, including shooting professionally for NME. We're really looking forward to seeing the winning photography on display!"
