Movie buffs with a Total Film magazine subscription can find out how the nominees reacted to their Oscar nods.
British actor Colin Firth, who recently took home a Golden Globe award, has been nominated for the Best Actor gong at the Oscars for his role in The King's Speech.
When he found out, he said he was "Currently celebrating with my colleagues three feet above the ground. Not used to this much joy, or this much champagne at this hour," reports Total Film magazine.
Jesse Eisenberg, star of The Social Network, in which he plays Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, is up against Firth for the accolade.
He said of the film: "The script was wonderful, the character was endlessly fascinating - a very frightened and frightening character."
Javier Bardem, whose wife Penelope Cruz recently gave birth to their first child, is also in contention for the award.
The Spanish actor said: "It's really a huge honour to have been nominated in a non-English speaking performance," reports Total Film magazine.
