Colin Firth, best known for playing Mr Darcy way back when, netted the Best Actor Golden Globe for his role in The King's Speech.
The British film had bagged a number of nominations at the Globes, but it failed to take any others home bar Firth's gong.
Winning four awards, The Social Network definitely came out top.
The flick took the Best Screenplay, Best Director, Best Motion Picture and Best Original Score accolades.
Jesse Eisenberg, who plays Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg in the film, missed out to Firth in the Best Actor category.
