Girls Aloud announce reunion to mark 10 years

Girls Aloud have announced their plans for a new single, album and arena tour!

They’ve all been off doing their own separate things for the past few years but now it seems Girls Aloud are doing Something New…

Today, Girls Aloud have announced their plans to reunite, marking their 10th year in the music world, which we’re sure those of you with a Q magazine subscription will be interested to know.

Cheryl Cole has famously judged the X Factor and had a successful solo career, Kimberly Walsh has been acting in the West End, Nicola Roberts has been working in fashion, Nadine Coyle has been living in America and Sarah Harding has dabbled with acting.

After a short break (and rumoured fallings out) the girls seem happy to get back together in celebration of the 10th anniversary since they released their debut single Sound of the Underground, the Christmas number one which led them to win Popstars: The Rivals in 2002.

The girls will be releasing a new single, called Something New, on 18th November. The first live performance of the single will be on Children in Need on 16th November . They will also be releasing Ten on 26th November, which will contain their greatest hits and a few unheard tracks.

The best news for fans though is Girls Aloud’s plans for a 12-date arena tour in 2013. Exciting times!
