The band knocked long-running leader Adele off the top of the UK album chart with their latest offering, Wasting Light, last weekend.

But they admitted, when it comes to celebrating their achievements, they tend to go for a low-key approach.

Lead singer Dave Grohl told NME magazine he loves nothing better than having some fried chicken and champagne after a gig.

"I don't think I need the f***ing blow [cocaine] and the paparazzi, but I like flying around in private jets. Those are nice," he told the publication.

He said he and the band are in a world where they can afford luxuries in life, like nice champagne, but they prefer to steer clear of caviar and the like.

"That's kind of how we roll," he told NME magazine.

Grohl admitted the only thing he's worried about now is his health, as he fears all the fat could cause him to have a heart attack at some point!
