Does Liam Gallagher want Oasis to reform?

Liam Gallagher speaks to NME about the possibility of an Oasis reunion in 2014 to mark Definitely Maybe's 20th anniversary.

If you have an NME magazine subscription you’ll have just received this week’s issue, featuring Oasis legend Liam Gallagher on the cover.

The singer, who now performs in three-piece Beady Eye, releases his next album on 10th June. However, he admits that despite a well-documented rift with brother and former bandmate Noel, Oasis isn’t necessarily over for good.

Next year will mark the 20th anniversary of Oasis’ debut album Definitely Maybe and Gallagher has hinted at a possible reunion tour.

Liam says: "There's unfinished business there. People ask would I get Oasis back together. I'd do it for nowt, but if someone's going to drop a load of fucking money, I'd do it for that too.”

However, don’t get your hopes up too much. He thinks new material is unlikely: “I don't think we'd ever make another record. I doubt we'll ever get back together."
