Will there be a new President Clinton - in the form of Hillary?

TIME takes a look at the likelihood of Hillary Clinton running a 2016 Presidential campaign.

It’s a long-running joke between men and women that whilst men may be seen to have all the power, they themselves are actually run by their wives – thus meaning women are the truly powerful ones. If there’s one woman who has beyond proved this theory, it’s Hillary Clinton.

If you have a TIME magazine subscription then you’ll have already seen that the cover story of this week’s issue is the will she/won’t she mystery of whether or not Hillary Clinton will put herself into the Presidential elections again.

A source close to Clinton says she has not made her mind up – despite an overwhelming amount of hints that she is. When pushed by TIME, the source says: “She’s going to continue to go about her life the way she has chosen to. She’s not being coy. When she says she hasn’t decided, she hasn’t decided.”

It seems almost inevitable that she will, and she has a ready-made fanbase who will back her. After all, she’s served two terms as the First Lady, run once before herself and served as Secretary of the State. That’s a political pedigree if ever there was one.

It seems we’ll have to wait and see what the future holds. 2016 is still two years away, so it’s possible she’s just biding her time…
