What Digital Camera magazine subscription holders can read about Nikon's new compact offering.
Called the Nikon S8100, it has been launched exclusively at Jessops.
The camera boasts the ability to shoot HD movies and it has a 10x optical zoom. On top of this, you'll get 12.1mp of quality shots.
According to What Digital Camera magazine, the night portrait mode works well, creating images with a "better exposed final product".
"The zoom has dual stabilisation, which is both optical and electronic, and a motion detection system that alters ISO and shutter speed to compensate for camera shake," the magazine notes.
Jessops will be selling the camera in either red or black from January 14th.
The high street retailer is one of the premier photographic sellers in the UK and it has 206 stores, as well as an online shop.
Jessops still continues to operate, despite going into liquidation in January last year.
