We don’t know if you know this, but there’s a new iPad coming out... Silly us! Of course you know - those of you with a Focus magazine subscription are always the first to know any technology news.
Well something you might not know is that Focus will be releasing a special edition app to coincide with the launch of the iPad 3. Showing off the new product’s super high-resolution screen, the “Megapixel” special will feature some of the most interesting and jaw-dropping images of the world of science from their Megapixel section from the last 5 years.
The special is a one-off publication and will be completely free to download. Readers will not only be able to zoom in to see every single detail, but the map function will also allow them to see exactly where the images were taken – whether it was in the Atlantic ocean or the Amazon rainforest.
Graham Southorn, Editor of Focus, said: “Megapixel is consistently named as one of the most popular sections of the magazine, so we thought the launch of the new iPad with its Retina display would be a great opportunity to showcase some of our best images from the past few years.”
