If we know one thing, it’s that boys love their toys. Whether it’s a Nintendo 64, Playstation 3, XBOX 360 or Wii, there’s no denying that games consoles can turn grown men into children if things don’t go their way.
Ladies, how many of you have had to put up with your boyfriend/husband turning mono-syllabic and sulking around the house because their friend killed them or they couldn’t get to the next level?
Our advice would be to ship them off to the Eurogamer Expo 2011, a – to get them out of their house, and more importantly their pyjamas and b – to let them meet like-minded people so that they’ll stop expecting you to jump for joy when they massacre entire villages – on screen, of course.
The Eurogamer Expo is being held at Earls Court between 22nd and 25th September and attendees will be able to test games not due out until Christmas, meet game developers, play in tournaments, win great competitions and there’s even a job fair for those looking to get into the gaming industry.
The only problem is what to do with them when they get back? Well, you know you can never go wrong with a gaming magazine subscription – and we have something for everyone!
