Getting your own country’s edition of your favourite magazine must be quite exciting – I mean, we can’t imagine if magazines such as ELLE had only printed their original version and we had to brush up on our French to be able to read it! After all, us Brits are pretty lazy when it comes to learning other languages.
However, Stuff magazine has now launched over in Burma, which is great news for the country and its the first magazine of its kind to do so.
Haymarket’s Edward Marr said: “Being the first major brand of its kind to enter the Myanmar (Burma) market is tremendously exciting.
“Our partner is an expert in the consumer-electronics sector, with a proven record of delivering high-quality content to Burmese readers in print and online. With all the major technology sectors set for huge growth we are perfectly positioned to offer our regional advertiser base access to engage readers in print, with plans for online and mobile in the coming year.”
The first edition of the magazine is due to hit newsstands over in Burma at the end of May.
