Were tears for Jacko real or fake?

Heat magazine has reported that a source at the BET Awards has claimed that Chris Brown faked his tears during a Michael Jackson tribute.

Heat magazine has reported on the speculation that Chris Brown may have been faking the tears that won him sympathy during the recent BET Awards.

The singer seemed to break down during a tribute to Michael Jackson, who died just over a year ago.

According to the magazine, a source told US Weekly that Brown used eye drops to fake the tears in an attempt to win over some critics, who have verbally battered the star since his much publicised break-up with Rihanna.

The insider suggested that he was handed the drops prior to walking on stage and simply had to rub them into his eye to start the waterworks.

Heat noted that the tears looked genuine and left readers to make up their own minds about whether the singer was genuinely upset, or simply playing games with the press.

In other news, Heat magazine revealed that Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart were no-shows at the London premiere of Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
