Twihards camp out for new Twilight movie

Fans of Twilight have been camping out in Los Angeles ahead of the US premier of the latest edition of the film.

OK! magazine has revealed that Twilight fever has hit the US ahead of the release of Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

The film hits cinemas across the pond tomorrow (June 24th), but fans have been camping out a full three days ahead of the premiere.

British Twihards will have to wait until July 9th for the third instalment of the series but our American cousins can spill the beans on the much-anticipated film ahead of time.

According to OK!, hundreds of fans were under canvas at Los Angeles' Nokia Plaza in the hope of securing their seats for the first screening of the movie.

The flick stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner and fans were keen to show their feelings for both the actors and their stars.

One girl had a sign saying "Rob, you've robbed my heart", while another sported one reading "Team Wolfpack: Because we like our men hot, furry and feral".

The movies tell the story of the heroine Bella and her relationship with Edward - a vampire - and Jacob - a werewolf.
