Title: Total Film

Total Film magazine is clearly excited about the impending release of the sequel to 80s cult classic Tron.

It has reviewed what it has learned so far about the movie from the various teasers and snippets of information that have been released.

Set three decades after the original, the film welcomes back familiar faces such as Jeff Bridges, who recently won an Oscar for his role in Crazy Heart.

The Big Lebowski star will not be the protagonist though, as the story will centre around his character Kevin Flynn's son Sam, played by Garrett Hedlund.

With Kevin missing, Sam looks to track him down, eventually finding himself sucked into the computer world of Tron.

Viewers can expect all kinds of audio visual trickery, including a number of scenes in 3-D and five shot for IMAX screens.

The movie, which comes from the writers behind Lost, will also feature some top musical talent in the form of Daft Punk, who have been commissioned to write the soundtrack.

However, the Robot Rock performers won't be the only act to contribute to the flick - Journey will also provide an 80s-style ballad to help tie in with the original.
