QOTSA to play five albums live?

Queens of the Stone Age are reportedly considering playing each of their five albums as part of a five-show mini tour.

Uncut magazine has picked up on the story that US rockers Queens of the Stone Age (QOTSA) are considering creating a special performance.

Front man Josh Homme recently spoke to Rolling Stone about the band's discussions on playing each of their five studio albums as part of a five-night show.

He explained how he and his band mates enjoyed Cheap Trick's performances of their first three albums and mentioned that they had discussed a similar idea "after a few shots".

QOTSA are also set to start work on a new album, while Universal is planning to re-release Rated R as a ten-year anniversary edition.

Homme had previously told NME that he was surprised the band had lasted long enough for the reissue.

He also hinted that the new album will be similar to 2007's Era Vulgaris, which he said is "all about wiggling hips".

The singer is married to Distillers and Spinnerette star Brode Dalle and was also involved with the formation of The Eagles of Death Metal.
