Picking a magazine cover star must be tough, so it’s no wonder so many of our favourite mags are picking more than one. Last month Glamour had three different covers, this month Cosmopolitan have two!
We’ve already told you about the Kardashians cover, but we forgot to mention the cover stars on the other cover... Though we’re sure you’ve probably never heard of them. They’re some little-known boyband called One Direction.
Yep, it’s 1D! Those boys sure are getting around seeing as they’re also in Vogue this month. Not that we’re complaining... It’s Cosmo’s Women of the Year issue and although not women, the boys have been named Ultimate Men of the Year.
The boys seemed happy enough to talk about the females in their lives. Zayn Malik who is currently dating Little’s Mix’s Perrie Edwards admitted that she’s been great for him. “’Behind every great man there’s a great woman’. And she’s great,” he gushed.
Louis Tomlinson is still dating long-term girlfriend Eleanor despite his hectic schedule said: “I think the key to a good relationship is being best friends too. I spend more time with her and the band than I do with anyone else. She’s really great.”
Two really “great” girlfriends then, sorry readers – though the remaining three are still single! Liam recently split up with girlfriend of two years Danielle (though has been rumoured to be dating Leona Lewis!), Niall is still reeling from his on-stage kiss with Katy Perry and then there’s Harry... and we all know Harry’s reputation.
He’s not as bad as he’s painted to be though, he insists. “A lot of the time, the way it’s portrayed is that I only see women in a sexual way. But I grew up with just my mum and sister, so I respect women a lot.”
But the big question is, do you have to be significantly older to be Harry’s type? Not necessarily. “It’s more about the person,” he said. “How they act, their body language, if they can laugh at themselves. I find ambition really attractive too – if someone’s good at something they love doing. I want someone who is driven.”
