Olly Murs poses naked in Heat magazine

Staying true to his word, Olly Murs has posed naked after reaching number one with his debut single Please Don't Let Me Go, and Heat magazine subscription holders can take a look at the snaps.

Cheeky Essex chap Olly Murs has proved he's true to his word by posing naked for Heat magazine subscription holders to see.

The X Factor runner-up promised to have the photos taken if his debut single Please Don't Let Me Go got to number one, and, despite many believing he'd break his promise, he hasn't.

Using just a bowler hat to hide is modesty, the singer has posed for the latest edition of Heat magazine, and Daily Mail readers got a sneak preview of one of the snaps.

He told the mag: "I was never tempted to pull out because my getting to number one is down to all the fans and all the ladies who bought it."

Asked how he'd prepared for the shoot, Olly said: "I wanted to do a bit of a workout with the JLS boys but I didn’t have time, so I had to come with whatever I had."

Olly did manage to fit in the time for a spray tan before the snaps were taken!

His debut single kept Katy Perry, with her song Teenage Dream, off the top spot, selling 87,000 copies.
